OUR HEALTH & SAFETY COMMITMENT

Our "Air France Protect" label guarantees you a safe trip.

We invite you to read about the exceptional health measures implemented at each stage of your trip which are regularly adapted to the changing situation.

WEARING OF A SURGICAL MASK COMPULSORY AND PHYSICAL DISTANCING

Since 11 May, it is compulsory to wear a surgical mask upon arrival at the airport and on board Air France flights. Each customer is required to wear an approved mask throughout their trip. We recommend that you carry several masks with you for your personal comfort.

We invite you to dispose of your used masks in the bins at the airport and on board the aircraft.

Air filtration in cabins

Our aircraft are equipped with an air filtration system consisting of High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters identical to those used in hospital operating rooms. Cabin air is thus completely refreshed every 3 minutes. These filters eliminate more than 99.97% of bacteria and viruses, ensuring an excellent air quality in our cabins which fully complies with health standards.

BEFORE YOUR DEPARTURE

CHECK TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS

Some countries require special travel certificates, quarantine on arrival, a recent negative Covid-19 test or other medical documents. For more information, please consult the TravelDoc website or our COVID-19 Flash Info page.

  • If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 (coughing, fever, headache, breathing difficulties etc.), please postpone your trip.
  • For stress-free travel, we recommend that you arrive at the airport as early as possible, check in all your baggage and head to the boarding gate in good time.
  • To limit the number of people at the airport at this time, access to the Paris airports is only authorized for passengers, people accompanying children travelling alone, or those requiring special assistance.

COVID-19 TEST: PARTNERSHIPS WITH SYNLAB AND BIOGROUP

In order to help you carry out a Covid-19 detection test (RT-PCR), Air France has set up partnerships with the Synlab and BioGroup laboratories.

We advise you to make an appointment in advance (test to be carried out within 72 hours before your departure, results within 48 hours).

Since 26 July, COVID-19 screening in France is covered by health insurance without a prescription, regardless of your destination.

You can find below the list of laboratories carrying out the PCR-Covid tests:

The list of laboratories is provided for information only. Air France declines all responsibility for the conditions and consequences of carrying out the tests.

FLIGHT SCHEDULE

Since the beginning of the crisis, we have been adapting our flight schedule in real time according to travel restrictions and demand.
This summer, nearly 150 destinations are available to you.
Numerous routes are being reopened between Paris and the French regions, and from region to region, particularly to and from Corsica.
Subject to the lifting of current restrictions, we plan to gradually increase the frequency of our flights and the number of destinations served, particularly within Metropolitan France, the French Overseas Territories and Europe.

Our updated flight schedule is valid until 24 October 2020

To check the status of your flights, please consult our Flight Status page, updated in real time.

CHANGES TO OUR OFFER

Inflight service

Our "Air France Protect" label guarantees you a safe trip and it is in this context that we are gradually improving your travel experience.
On board, on flights lasting less than 2hr30, we are resuming our beverage service and on our flights lasting more than 2hr30, a snack offer will once again be available.
On our long-haul flights, we are gradually reintroducing a fuller meal service with more choice and individually wrapped products, and the second meal is served in our "Bon Appétit" bags on flights longer than 8hr30.

In addition, we are no longer able to offer you duty-free items and newspapers and magazines on board our flights. The press offer remains available on our Air France Play app, which you can download before your flight.

Reopening of Paris-Orly airport

Orly airport reopened on 26 June, 2020.

On departure from Hall 3, Air France has resumed flights:
- to Corsica: Ajaccio, Bastia, Calvi and Figari,
- to Aurillac, Brive, Castres and Tarbes-Lourdes.

Biarritz, Montpellier and Nice are now served from Paris-Orly in addition to the services offered to these destinations on departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport.

The other flights usually operated from Paris-Orly airport will continue to operate from Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

OUR ADAPTED PROCEDURES AT THE AIRPORT

In Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport:
- Terminal 2G at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport is closed. Air France Hop flights which normally depart from this terminal will instead be operated by Air France and depart from Terminal 2F.

- Advance check-in services, usually offered the day before departure, are suspended.

We have adapted our check-in areas in line with our reduced operations. Please check the indications on your ticket.

Our Skypriority check-in areas in terminals F and E are open from 5:00 to 22:45.

We have reorganized the boarding process for our long-haul flights, starting with customers seated at the back before moving up the front of the aircraft, to limit contact on board.

Children travelling alone

We have been happily welcoming young unaccompanied travellers, from 4 to 17 years old, back on board our aircraft.

The flight on which the child is travelling must not have a connection, as the Kids Solo lounges are closed.
Surgical masks are compulsory for all children aged 11 and over. They are also highly recommended for all children of all ages.

Some national authorities require special travel documents, quarantine upon arrival, a recent negative Covid-19 test result (PCR test) or other health certificates in order to travel. These requirements apply to children as well. For more information, please consult the TravelDoc website and our Flash Info page.

Please consult our Kids Solo section

Important: please do not book 2 separate flights if no direct flight is available for your preferred trip. We are unavailable to provide any assistance at the connecting airport. The child’s trip must be justified by the valid travel certificate.

We are gradually reopening in July our ticket offices in Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice and Toulouse.
